5 Birthday Party Ideas You 10 Year Old Girl Will Love

Having a birthday party to remember is pretty important when you’re 10 years old. They want their friends to have as good a time as they do, and they’ll want a party that everyone will still be talking about by the time they’re 11!

No pressure then!

Organising a party for your 10 year old daughter can feel a little daunting; there’s a lot to remember and arrange before the big day. With everything from the cake and the activities, to the gifts for the birthday girl that need to be sorted well in advance – if you’re struggling for gifts for a 10 year old girl then click the link for a little inspiration – it’s totally normal to feel overwhelmed.

But don’t worry, I’ve put together my top 5 birthday party ideas that your 10 year old girl will love!

Good luck!

1. A Tea Party

Creating a tea experience for your birthday girl and her friends is pretty easy to pull off. And if your daughter is into all things pink and girly then it's perfect. Have the party guests turn up in their finest dresses and pretend jewellery and let them eat dainty finger foods including cucumber sandwiches (crustless of course) to cute little cakes and pastries. For a little entertainment, you can check online stores that sell party needs like Pom Pom Party and buy colorful party plates or cutlery sets. You can also have the guests decorate sugar cookies with icing, box them up and take them home as part of their party favours.

2. Go Karting

If your daughter is a bit of an adrenaline junkie or likes a bit of competition then how about a Go Karting afternoon with her friends? Go Karting tracks usually have packages for birthday parties, with mini races and even a winners podium for the competitors to have their photos taken on. They’ll probably take care of all the food and party favours too, so that’s another couple of things off your to-do list.

3. Horse Riding

You don’t have to have a wall of rosettes at home in order to enjoy a horse riding party! If you live near an equestrian centre that caters for groups, then why not let your daughter and her friends try something completely different. Whether they head outdoors and go for a mini trek in the countryside or they stick to the area and practice their trotting and cantering, a horse riding party will certainly be one to remember!

4. Trampoline Park

This one is a huge hit with kids and adults alike! Trampoline parks are incredible, with foam pits, basket ball hoops, walls and floors covered in trampolines, slides and obstacle courses, there’s enough to do that will keep the kids happy for hours. Birthday party packages are usually available, and you get to come back home to a clean and tidy house!

5. A Sleepover

Simple and straightforward, a sleepover for your birthday girl and her closest friends will certainly be popular! Movies, chatting, midnight feasts and of course, plenty of snacks! You can incorporate other themes as well, including a pamper session with mini facials or a gaming night where guests bring a video game and controller each.
